Eri stares at him. “You.”
Deku laughs a little, even though he looks happy to hear it. “That’s very sweet,” he says, “but I meant out of everyone else.”
Oh. Eri considers this, but after what happened today she doesn’t really have to think about it. “Kacchan,” she tells him. She likes Kacchan because he’s nice and because he doesn’t treat her like she’s fragile and because he made her cookies. And she knows Deku likes him a lot, too, so she knows it’s a good answer.
“Do you want to know a secret, Eri?” Deku smiles again. “Kacchan is my favorite, too.”
Or Katsuki makes it his business to befriend Eri, and realizes he has a lot in common with this traumatized kid.

+(This is not really a review, more just me trying to sort out my thoughts, so hi author pls do not take any of this negatively :> it's absolutely not the intention)
So at the moment this fic is 6/8 chapters.
I have many thoughts that I need to write down.
While reading it I had very mixed feelings about not in the way of good or bad, no more like i didn't know how to feel about it. I couldn't describe the "aura" emitting from it.
It made me stop more then once and just listen to the emptiness of my room.
After thinking a bit, I can describe the feeling I got from this fic as a bit like a liminal space in some way:
It's something empty and cold but it has a warm familiarity, it made me a bit uncomfortable but not in a bad way.
I cannot point out specific elements of this fic that made me feel this way.Whether this fic get finished one day or not doesn't change my appreciation for it.
