    Summary

Leo waited. His leg was growing painfully numb under the ice. He wanted to rip the pack off and heave it across the room where it could shatter on the floor. Instead, he forced himself to stay quiet as he watched everyone disperse on their assignments, feeling his heartbeat inexplicably rise in his chest until he finally couldn’t stand it anymore.

“And me?” Leo looked to Splinter. “I know portaling is kinda off the table right now, but, you know, plans are still kinda my thing. Just give me a minute—an hour max—and I know I can come up with a place for us to stay...” Leo’s voice faded as Splinter placed a warm pink hand on top of his own, making it lay still.

“Do not worry, my baby blue.” He said, giving the back of his hand a pat, a soft smile reaching his furry face. “I know exactly where we will go.”

    ----------

Leo knew losing an arm would be a hard change. He just didn’t know exactly how many changes he'd have to deal with. Turns out that narrowly avoiding the Krang apocalypse doesn't mean everything goes back to normal.

    Summary

"Now though Izuku knew it was gone, not a single spark of the previous borrowed power still lingering in his body. He'd been painfully aware of when the last ember fizzled out, an awful, gut-twisting sort of deja vu having rolled over him. That strange sensation of his skin being a little too cold, his muscles lax as if missing a connection, his chest hollow as if a heavy void sat there, as if he was missing something.

    Izuku was quirkless again.

As quirkless as the day he was born."

    ---

After the final embers of One For All were truly dead and gone Izuku finds himself feeling incredibly...directionless. If he couldn't be a hero, did he even have a purpose? A genuine worth? A reason to even still be here? Two versions of his best friend try to help him answer that question, the bitter, haunting memories of the "Katsuki" he had known in middle school, and the "Kacchan" that still dreamed of being by Izuku's side despite everything...
