Summary
A stroke of fate. A onetime chance. An opportunity to remake a pre-written story.
The tale of Medusa has been told several times over. It was as never ending as Ixion on his flaming wheel, going around and around in the same loop of bloodshed. But what the mortals didn’t know was that Medusa was far more than the man-killing, stone-gazing serpentine horror they all said she was.
She was a mother. Through and through, she was a mother. And that would always come before her being a monster.
And even when her blood did wash Gaia’s earthly flesh a garish shade of red, her brood would live on.
An eye for an eye. A head for a head.
Medusa’s child bore the fury of the fallen in the edge of her silvered blade.
