He tilted her head to the side, exposing the soft skin of her delicate neck, and leaned down to say in a deep rumble, “Your jacket smelled just like the lab. It’s a scent unique to the reagents that are used there.” That was all he was going to say on the matter, as his need for her, that had lingered at the edges of his mind for hours, finally overtook him.
