Summary
Steve wakes up after being frozen for seventy years to a new era. He's lonely, scared, and in emotional agony, but he refuses to let it show to the strangers surrounding him. In time he adjusts but can't shake the horrors of the past. To add to his growing stresses a repressed heat would hit him in a matter of weeks. His body won't be able to undergo it without the help of an alpha. Things for omega improved since his time, but he couldn't help his fear, not after his first experience.

A long, brutal winter forces Steve to go to King Howard for aid, and Howard agrees – under the condition that Steve bond with his Omega son, Tony. Steve agrees, of course, for the good of his people.
