Summary
The fourth war is nearing its end and desperate choices are made. Jaina Proudmoore and Sylvanas Windrunner enter a marriage of convenience in hopes to end the war peacefully and to ensure no more fighting continues. Not everyone is for this choice however especially the Warchief and Lord Admiral, can they make this work with rising threats from without or within? Or will this fall apart and war escalates once more.
(ANNOUNCEMENT: This story is undergoing a massive rewrite and restructuring. The ships I listed will stay as will some of the chapters but I feel like I wrote myself into a corner and made it hard to follow or even write. Therefore, while the story will stay up, I am deleting several chapters and using other ideas and I want to focus more on the main relationship and how it develops. Bigger story arcs will come but I need to plan them better.
I will be writing a few newer stories too after I finish this one being that it is my first foray into Sylvaina I want to make it better so do not be alarmed if you see chapters disappearing the story isn't going away I am just fixing some issues I feel need fixing.)

Summary
The war has not gone well for anyone. The Alliance has three months left before collapse. The Horde is not much better off. With neither victory or death as options, Sylvanas proposes an alternative. A treaty, to ease tensions and open borders, with a political hostage to ensure that both sides stay in line. A marriage with many political implications and Sylvanas would only accept one person. Jaina Proudmoore.
And Jaina Proudmoore made for the perfect hostage. If the Alliance moves wrong, Jaina dies. The Horde attacks, and Jaina reduces Orgrimmar to a wisp of a memory in the minds of children.
Of course, no one expected Sylvanas and Jaina to be anything more than uneasy partners with each other, least of all Sylvanas and Jaina...
