His eyes widened in shock as slender fingers grasped his wrist just as he was halfway to reaching her shoulder. One moment his feet were firmly on the floor, the next he was on his back staring at the ceiling. The carpeting did very minimal cushioning to his back from the throw. Jade could feel the pain slowly blossoming from his shoulder blades to his lower back.
It was certainly enough confirmation that he wasn’t dreaming, nor could he not deny what happened.

Summary

When King Robert Baratheon dies the War of Three Stags begins and a Kraken throws his own claim into the pot.
Daenerys Targaryen's story is closer to TV Show canon than the characters on the continent of Westeros.
