“Andréa, what do you want?” It’s not the question Andy had expected, and the thought that maybe Miranda expects her to ask for a favour on the way out crosses her mind. Rather than flooding her with indignant outrage, thought, it spreads a sharp sadness between her ribs to wrap around her heart.
“You don’t know?” Andy surprises herself with the genuinely amused colour in her tone. Her only answer is the careful arching of one perfect brow. “I want you to teach me everything.”
As she stumbles blindly back through the door, she realises that’s the closest she can conceivably get to speaking the whole truth

Summary
Andi Sachs is a mess. Recently a college graduate (third try's a charm!) she has no idea what to do next. Estranged from her mother, they're nevertheless under the same roof for the first time in over six years. She has choices, so many choices. There's time to figure it all out and maybe fix what's broken in her relationship with her mom.
The one year anniversary of Miranda's divorce from her first husband has come and gone along with any desire for another relationship. As ever, Runway and her twins are her only focus but that doesn't mean she won't find time to date when there's a suitable candidate. For now, she has sole custody of Caroline and Cassidy and a gaudy divorce settlement, thanks to her lawyer and friend, Evelyn Sachs. The last thing she will ever do is risk everything she's gained for someone who's not ready for her.
