Summary
When a particular high elf heads to Skyrim in order to avoid responsibilities, he finds he isn’t the only one doing so. In which, Rumarin gets picked up by a redguard mercenary who may or may not be involved with thieves and dragons and things way over his head. He's counting on making some coin, maybe paying off some debts, and avoiding the Thalmor. What he isn't counting on is… everything else, and playing Withershins.
In other words, the story of how Akhara and Rumarin met and teased the hell out of one another until they just had to kiss. Loosely based on what happened in-game as I played Skyrim for the thousandth time and fell madly in love with my own dragonborn.

He saw arrows embroidered in gold metal, born of years of discipline. In all of them, Henry was by his side, constant and resolute.

Jitka hadn't shaken old memories out of the thicket just to have something to talk about; rather, she'd hoped that like Henry, Theresa could be trusted with terror, with pain and rage and fear, and rise to it. To conquer it. No other woman could offer what Theresa could, and so she packed what few belongings she had—even now, still compelled to live lightly enough to flee and not miss anything—and followed Lady Jitka to Pirkstein.

Henry opens his eyes. It’s cold outside, or there’s a fire in the mantle inside, or there’s revelry downstairs at the Devil’s Den, or a warm body beside him until it’s not there anymore. A story inspired by the Somnambulant negative perk.
