Dirtyhands didn’t need a reason. That was what the people of Ketterdam always said. Regulus Black didn’t need a reason. James new better. There was always a reason behind every kill, every use of that vicious cane of his. Regulus never hurts anyone without a reason. James knew, most people didn’t.

So, I think I just did something. I have seen some people wanting to see a six of crows marauders fic, and i just though "if i dont, who will?" So, I wrote this. It is my first work that I am posting, I have writen things before for fun, but never really showed anyone. English is not my first language, so pleas be kind and let me know if I have messed up anywhere.
This follows the plot of soc preatty close, just with the characters switched out. It will have some small changes mayby, so don't be surprised if something doesn't fit the original plots. Some of the characters might be a bit ooc, but I will try and make them justice.

He doesn’t need a mirror to know he looks different, younger. The afterlife is automatically more peaceful than anything James’s 21 years on earth has ever been. He knows there’s not bats under his eyes from being sleep deprived, a new baby and a war doesn’t allow for much sleep these days. He knew he wasn’t wearing his costume, he didn't feel the blood on his face, and when he looked down he saw his old school robes.
“What kind of idiot forgets his wand?” A voice calls out with a small French accent and James knows that voice. If he was back on Earth, in the land of the living he’s positive he would’ve broken his neck for how quickly he turned it to look at the boy in the corner, as he stepped out into the light and James forgot how to breathe.

It’s a relatively straightforward job: Jesper will pretend to be the handmaid to the withdrawn and sheltered Van Eck heir, and convince him to elope with another mercher. That’s all Jesper has to do on his end, and then the Crows will walk away with 45 million kruge. It’s a simple task.
Or it would be, if not for the fact that there seems to be more to Wylan Van Eck than meets the eye, and Jesper can’t help but be intrigued—and maybe a bit charmed, too.
