Summary
The ride home was supposed to take only a few weeks, but when a storm strands CHristopher and Ashcombe in the middle of nowhere, with Christopher unable to remember anything. They find the way back is alot longer then they thought.

Summary
Christopher Rowe has been in Oxford for two months. He is finally starting to get used to life around Nobility and Lord Richard Ashcombe his father. But when a party the King is throwing ends in disaster. Sally, Tom, Christopher Ashcombe, and the King's own Spymaster are sent to France to find out the truth and put a stop to it.
Ashcombe in the meantime finds himself dealing with the pangs of what happened the last time he was in France. The King's Spymaster does his best to use this time in France to test Christopher and see if he truly has what it takes to be a spy.

She doesn’t meet her mother’s eyes when she says her day was fine. She doesn’t talk the whole way home. Victoria is too busy replaying the nurse's gossip in the back of her mind like a broken record. The way they kept calling her kid. The way her mom was an actual reason why they didn’t want to invite her. Worst of all, the way none of them thought she could be any fun to hang around.
She could be fun.
She was tons of fun.
