He's slightly dizzy, he discovers, and that throws him off-balance for a second or two, much to his annoyance. The blurry image of Wreck in his vision clicks his tongue in disapproval. Nice rubs his eyes, which honestly makes things a little worse and him a little angrier.
“Your hands are covered in blood,” Wreck points out in the same monotone matter-of-fact way, “Your face is now, too.”
Wreck puts Nice back together, piece by piece.

A quiet click, soft whirring of the gears turning somewhere out of line of sight. The soundproof walls, god, Wreck loves the soundproof walls. He takes his helmet off and throws it on the floor and screams.

Summary
Some say death is a sweet embrace but in the void of fear, it's anything but. In the cold and suffocating entrapment of the in-between, Nice desires a feeling of warmth to ease all his pain.

Summary
It was never about the smile. It was about the power behind that smile. It was about protecting joy and encouraging hope in the face of adversity. That was the kind of hero Nice sought to become ever since he was that innocent child practicing his smiles in front of a mirror.
But, that innocent child died the moment he agreed to work with Mr. Shang. He had traded his soul for a pretty face and cheap smiles. And now, he was reduced to a bleeding mess on the bathroom floor, caked in his tears and vomit.
This wasn’t what a perfect hero looked like. This was depravity.
A little exploration into Nice's mental state after his encounter with Mr. Shang at the end of episode 23.
