A storm raged on in the capital of Mouse Kingdom. It was dark, and only the roaring rain and thunder could be heard. On the perpetually calm 666 Pride street, however, the Morningstar Toyshop shone with a warm, inviting glow. Painted in white, red and gold, with motifs of apples and fantastical creatures, the shop was a place that the residents of Pride street had come to associate with joy and laughter during the day; and during the night, it served as a safe haven for a small family of two, a father-daughter duo of white mice – their names, Charlie and Lucifer Morningstar.

Breakfast was the calm before the storm.
“Greetings.”
They were just about to begin a new exercise. Everyone had decided to participate (even Alastor and Lucifer) for once. Charlie was smiling from ear to ear, brimming with barely contained excitement. However, just as she opened her mouth a bright flash interrupted her.
“I believe I am in a somewhat precarious position,”- she turned towards Lucifer and Alastor, who stared at her from opposite sides of the couch - “dearest fathers.”
“WHAT!?”
A red-haired demoness stood before them. Claiming to be the daughter of Alastor the Radio Demon and Lucifer Morningstar.

It only takes a quick flash, and Lucifer’s chat blows up.
Lucifer’s eyes widen as he meets Alastor’s, who cradles his wrist in his other hand like he just got burnt. They stare at each other, gaping as the chat scrolls by.
'It’s fine, it’s fine, it’s just your hand, no one can tell anything from that,' Lucifer tries to say with his eyes while his heart beats a mile a minute. Over ten years of streaming, two years spent dating Alastor, and just over one year living together, no one has ever shown themselves on Lucifer’s stream unless they were an invited guest. Much less Alastor, who did everything within his power to keep his identity a secret.
And yet, all it took was Alastor accidentally moving his arm into view to break every rule they set up for themselves.

As Lucifer watched Alastor go up the stairs –coat waving behind him as he walked with a calm pace, hands behind his back, as if it hadn't affected him at all that they had been arguing loudly minutes ago– that's when he realised he had reached his limit.
That was it. They were going to have A talk.

In an attempt to reduce the hostility between them, Alastor and Lucifer find themselves in a strange relationship. Between Alastor's inability to fully understand romance and Lucifer's depression neither expects this to be easy, but they slowly overcome barriers and learn to be each other's support.Second part of my "reverse fake dating" as I keep calling it. You don't need to read the first one; although it seeks to explore the relationship they have when no one is paying attention in the other fic, I think this works on its own.
