Summary
William Graham was hardly the sort one would approach often- he was rare, vulnerable in all his layers of issues. He was the sort who had so much potential for being as much a beast as those he walked with, the sort who could mimic all the right steps in a tango he had never danced before, his imagination having to fill in the dangerously steep gaps. It would take a single wrong step (a single easy push) for him to fall to oblivion.
So what better way to measure his success of getting into Will’s mind than through one of his biggest weaknesses: touch?

Summary
The air was closing around him. Icy cold hands seemed to grip his clothes, pulling him down further and faster. Was it finally ending? Sirius prayed it was the case as he barreled down. It was time to rest. He smiled as a light glowed dimly from behind his eyelids. He just had to fall into the light, and everything would be over. And if the future was right, he could be with Harry again too someday. And when he saw him, he’d be sure to tell him just how sorry he was.
The light swallowed him whole, wrapping Sirius in a warmth like no other. Gone was the Veil’s frosty embrace. This was much better. The warmth ebbed away, replaced by a chill, a dampness that felt familiar.
After what felt like an eon of falling, Sirius landed. His eyes shot open, his body lurching upright.
And found himself sitting in Azkaban.Sirius Black fell through the Veil. This is a fact. He died, another fact.
Where, or rather when, Sirius landed… that is another matter entirely.Bookmarked by RagingStar
