Stiles dad takes him to New York where he establishes himself as a PI of the Supernatural persuasion. Unable to let go of the circumstances of his mother's death, Stiles does the best a kid can do pursuing the case against his father's wishes.
Years pass until suddenly Stiles is orphaned at sixteen and on his way back to Beacon Hills, back to where it all seemed to have started.
