As difficult it is to admit, it isn't easy being Bigby's friend. Harder still, to be Colin and also be Bigby's friend.
His prickly demeanor and snark comes naturally to him. It also happens to be his go-to thing with the Sheriff.
Why? Because it's easy. Because it's familiar. Because on good days Bigby would snark back and they'd have a good chuckle about it later.
But clearly this wasn't one of those days. Hell, nor were any other of his days recently.
Or, Colin worries about Bigby and Bigby just want to get at least two hours worth of sleep.

While taking down a slaver ring, Din and Boba are transported to the past, not that Din knows it at first. Dropped onto Sundari, supposed capital of Mandalore, a planet and people Din believes to be erased, what is he to do? Especially when he hears about a certain Sith, an aruetii, who supposedly stole the title of Mand'alor but is not Mandalorian? Well, Din has to take his lawful place, right? Even if that means picking up strays, reluctantly doing his job of ruling a people, speaking to his (two??) Darksabers, and so so much more.

Missing his weapons, his armor, and, well, everything except the beskar spear and a strange dark crystal, he needs to figure out where he is, why he is child-shaped, and where all of these mando'ade came from.
(or, Din is sent to the past, where upon he meets civil war era Death Watch, Jaster and his True Mandos, slowly cottons on to the fact that his 'childhood whimsies' may have had more meaning behind them, and knows just about jack-all about how to deal with any if it.)

“Arthur,” Charles says, tipping his head back to stare at the expanse of space above them. It's a damn pretty sight. His hands are cold, but he doesn’t put them out like Arthur does. Instead, he puts his right fingers to his left wrist, fiddling with the bandage there.
He’s sure Arthur sees it, notices it right away with those perceptive blue-green eyes of his, because he takes a beat to respond. “Yeah, Charles?”
“Ever heard of someone having a countdown on their wrist?” Charles asks, definitely the smoothest talker in the entire world. He cringes, internally, but he supposes it's better to rip the bandage off than beat around the bush.
Arthur is silent again, but only for a few moments. He shifts where he’s sitting, and the fire crackles between them, utterly unaffected by the thick, stormy tension in the air. “Not really, unless they put it there themselves,” he offers, which Charles supposes is as good an answer as anyone can give, in this situation.
