Summary
Though, in reviewing the life that I have lived under the consciousness of truth, I am nevertheless sensible enough to concede that my defect of storytelling may disillude from the truth. Despite my sincere desires, it is often said that the best-laid plans–intentions, in my case–often go astray. I cannot say that I am not pleased with the result nor can I claim that the fault of ignorant incompetence veiled thinly through the words on a page was the role that I played innocently. Indeed, I am deeply pleased to play the Shakespearian fool, donning Feste’s jester hat while the public stumbled into gullible Malvolio’s astute trust to a folly as the twelve nights in West Egg turned into nothing more than a fantastical mirage.
There are several truths that I seem to have unconsciously shifted into–lies that I simply must rectify for the sake of my authenticity.
First and foremost: That was not the first night I had laid eyes on one Jay Gatsby.

Summary

Ranboo has always had a horrible memory.
Well, no. That's not true.
Or maybe it is. He thinks he might have forgotten.
Only it is not true. Not in the slightest. He remembers things! Lots of things! His favorite books, where he put his gloves, which key opens his tower. Even a blue eyed boy that no one else seems to think existed. But he did exist! They were friends, he swear it. He just wishes he remembered the kids name...The Antarctic Empire is on the brink of war with its neighboring kingdoms and countries due to political affairs involving land and the fine print of an old peace treaty. Both sides cannot seem to find an agreement and the empire is grasping at straws to try and keep their nations from causing one of the bloodiest wars in history. Rather than keep his head down in his books, Ranboo seems to remember something about, well, everything. But he can never seem to put his finger on it. With memories that no one else seems to have and dreams that constantly plague his sleep, he has to try and figure out what all of this means before something comes to pass that they all regret.
But what does this have to do with a missing blonde kid nobody remembers? And why is he so annoying?

Summary

Stamped on the front page of magazines and the subject of several documentaries on prime time television, he will never be able to escape the darkness that follows him around. He is the only living survivor of three separate serial killers: The Angel of Death, The Shrike, and The Blood God. Or, in his messed up life, his father and brothers. Despite avoiding his past life for years, it comes knocking in the form of a detective that seems to have a need to solve his family’s case once and for all no matter the cost. But if you play, you pay, and Tommy is not sure that he has the means to afford the cost. It’s a constant moving chess board and a power struggle to check the queen. It’s all just a game.
