Summary
She was ungrateful for most of the things he did for her.
For example, he didn’t have to give her anesthesia when he cut into her; the sounds of her screaming and dumb whining would do nothing to phase him, and, luckily, the chair was equipped with thick straps that kept her from moving in any way he didn’t want her to— she didn’t even have the option of trying to push him off of her. Any squirming away from his scalpel would be futile. But, in his benevolence and out of the kindness of his heart, he gives her medicine to make all the pain go away. He would never hurt her like that, and he hopes she knows that.
But, more often than not, Eri goes down kicking and screaming until the drugs finally take hold and put her into a deep sleep.
