Summary
“I want you.” He was forward about it. Not demanding, but sure in his desire. “I want to take you out on dates and have you in my bed.”
“You wanna be my sugar daddy.”
“I do.”
Johnny's shoulders slumped. It was too good to be true. This handsome, rich man was looking for a little twink to fawn over. But Johnny wasn't some twink. He was a— a girl. Some dirty, wrong thing that wasn't good enough to keep around.
“I'm not what you're looking for.”
“Nonsense,” Simon scoffed. “I know a pretty little thing when I see one.”

Summary
Scott goes to turn Avid into a vampire only to find that Avid is already a vampire, but there's a catch, there's always a goddamn catch.
Explanations happen and Scott and Owen are less than pleased. Overdue damage control and therapy ensues.
OR - Scott and Owen, being older vampires, get mad at hearing how Avid's been treated by other vampires in the past. Also older vampires, like Scott, are naturally very instinct driven, this includes being protected over fledglings.
(new chromebook means new fic time lol)

Summary
But then Scott stopped talking, and Pyro quickly followed suit. The nobleman’s nose scrunched up, his now pointier ears (seriously, how had nobody noticed that? He wasn’t crazy! They just refused to look!) twitched. All that Avid could hear was his own heartbeat. He wasn’t breathing, he wasn’t moving. He refused to let out a single sound. He wasn’t ready, not to go against two of them. Maybe if he’d just come across one of them by themselves, he could have… surely if it was Pyro. Scott he was far more afraid of.
“It sounds like we have company”. Following Scott’s words, everything moved in slow motion. The vampire’s head turned, their eyes locked together, and then Avid was running.
He didn’t know where he was going. There was nowhere for him to run. He was far away from town, outside of any proper path, and, most importantly, nobody believed him. Nobody had tried going after him. He had no allies left. Nobody would have known if he had died.
Avid was going to die.
