Danny would like it on record that he did not sign up for this. But there’s smoke nestled against his ice core and a name of a boy he now shares a grave with—and that’s a start. He could do without the weird glowing blue system tailing him, though. Not that it’s going to stop him from doing things his way.
If he’s here to stay, then he’ll own it. Not just for himself, but in honor of Jason Todd, too.
Also, what is up with Gotham and their aggressively weird vigilantes? He already has a whole new family of assassins—he does not have time for capes on top of that!

Through some odd occurrence beyond understanding, Emryn is brought to Gotham as a small kitten sized dragon to Gotham. She has minimal understanding of canon but there is one thing she thinks she can do. Be a friend with a young 9 year old Tim Drake and protect him from all the (pardon my French) bullshit he signed up for when he signed up for the batfamily.

The expensive suit and watch were missing. Instead, he wore all black now. A long sleeve shirt, black slacks and black loafers. The black leather gloves were the only thing the same. This fact did nothing to calm my racing heart. Something told me the wardrobe change wasn’t a good sign.
“Oh. You noticed,” Roman Sionis said as he walked closer. “Blood is… difficult to get out of linen, so I like to wear something a little more… forgiving when I’m working. Or playing.”
He stalked up to me and grabbed my chin in an iron grip. Tilting my head this way and that, he hummed.
Then smacked me right across the face.
Right where Dylan had hit me earlier.
My lip split again; the scab ripped away by the casual violence. I cried out and held my freshly throbbing face with both hands. Blood poured out of my mouth and I let it drip onto the floor between my bare feet.
“You know what they say… do what you love and you’ll never really work a day in your life,” he intoned. A grotesque amount of glee in his voice. “You have a part to play now, doll.”
I was really beginning to hate that word.
