Summary
“You’ve been acting strange.” Lucifer whispers suddenly, catching them both unaware. Diavolo tenses where his chin meets Lucifer’s hair, tightening his grip on the railing.
“Perhaps.” Diavolo says, not attempting to deny it. Lucifer stands up a little straighter, but doesn’t let go of the prince’s arm.
“Did something happen?” He questions, because his sobriety would never allow him to. “Was it something I did?”
Diavolo laughs quietly, the sound rumbling through him. He looks almost defeated, but there is a certain wistfulness in his gaze. He looks down at Lucifer with a quiet fondness.
“Oh, Lucifer.” He sighs, “It’s everything you do.”
Diavolo has already surrendered himself to Lucifer MorningStar, body and soul. The only thing left to do is sink to his knees and announce his undying devotion for all the realms to see.
