Summary
Tommy's called Blindspot for a reason. He’s not invisible, as he’s reminded Dream time and time again - people can definitely see him. They just don’t notice. He blends into plain sight, totally diverting all attention like water off of a duck.
Usually, anyway. Orpheus, however, stiffens a little as Tommy draws nearer. He starts glancing around, as if struck by sudden paranoia. Tommy draws up in front of him, staff clenched in one hand, and Orpheus starts turning as if to check behind him.
“What’s that,” Orpheus mutters. “Who’s there-“
Tommy pulls his staff back and slams it into Orpheus’s stomach, hard.
Orpheus stumbles. He wheezes, choking, and then looks up at Tommy and fixes him with a burning stare.
“Who the fuck are you,” Orpheus says, eyes wild and oddly delighted. “Where were you hiding?”

Suspected of betraying the Hero Guild, Apprentice hero Tommy (A.K.A. Blindspot) is put under Security Protocol Catbag: a locked-on noise cancelling mask equipped with truth gas. His mentor, Dream, calls it a necessary teaching tool.
Meanwhile, SBI wants to know why their least favorite loudmouth little Hero has suddenly stopped talking.

Tommy stutters, his tongue suddenly turning to rubber and stares at the man, one of the world's top villains, in his passenger's seat. “I—”
“One moment.” The Angel holds up a finger, popping the door open and looking towards the back of Tommy’s car. He cups a hand to his face. “Boys, get in this fucking car or I’m leaving you behind!”
Tommy twists in his seat, head snapping back to look out his back window and watches as three more men (holy shit, is that the Blade?) come darting towards his car.

Summary
Wilbur exhaled slowly, watching the grey smoke spread in rivulets around him. By now most people would give up, exasperated, and some even scared. He tended to have that effect.
But the boy didn’t seem fazed. In fact, he was opening his mouth again, and Wilbur’s brows raised.
“You’re a dumbass.”
Wilbur choked out a laugh, smoke prematurely escaping his lips. “You’re not wrong.” He took his arm off the top of the bench to pat the seat next to him. “Wanna take a seat?”
Wilbur Soot is a depressed detective investigating a local murder. During his investigation, he meets Tommy, a lively blue-eyed boy that changes his life. However, there’s something Tommy seems to be keeping from him.

Because he was not Thomas Simons. And this was not his body. And not his universe.
OR
Tommy gets killed by Dream, revived moments later. Except something goes wrong, and he ends up in a modern universe. One where he is a small child.
SBI confusion and fluff + bench trio madness + Tommy's copious amount of trauma = healing + chaos ensues
