晴天下午两三点的时候，阳光会透过玫瑰窗中间的圆孔洒在中庭，门口抱着圣婴的玛丽亚是温暖的灿金色；等到夜晚最后一丝月光降临的时候，雕像门上的耶和华和众天使低下头紧闭双眼，泛着金属光泽的玛丽亚变成一位象牙雕的青年，他戴着冬青花冠，垂泪望着膝上血肉模糊的婴儿。眼睛下方的泪珠滴落时，身后通往魔法界的入口就会打开。
对麻瓜世界稍有认知的人会马上认出，这是哀悼基督的造型。然而在垂泪圣母一样的青年膝上重生的不再是救世主，而是一个时代的终结，是黑魔王永生的开端。
