Summary
Spock does everything else but face what happened on the Class H planet with Kirk, until he is forced into a unique situation with his captain, where alas, he must face it.
Based on the season 7 episode of TNG “Attached" but what if it was Kirk and Spock instead of Bev and Picard? There is some direct dialogue from that episode.
Would encourage you to read “What Took You So Long, Mr. Spock?” first because you will get hella spoiled for that one here if you don’t.

Summary
Its been a while since any of the other knights have tried to raise their fists at Merlin. Mostly, he suspects ,it's because they don't want to fall out of the good graces of the Prince and for whatever reason messing with his manservant is the easiest way to do that.
Maybe that's why the shock shakes him down to his bones when the first blow hits him square in the jaw.
When the sharp taste of cobalt reaches his tongue he realizes just how dependent on his status he's become, he realizes just how weak he really is.

Summary
Gritting his teeth against the pain shooting up his leg with every step, Merlin shifts the heavy tray to a more comfortable position. In the process he bashes his elbow, sloshing the jug and causing him to bite down a yelp. Great. As if he doesn't have enough injuries. He curses everything, the visiting knights, Uther, even Arthur for being so damned oblivious now when he wasn't two weeks ago.
An asshole knight visits Camelot and Merlin has to serve him.

"Merlin knew he shouldn't, but also couldn't help the way it made him feel better. Everytime he felt like he had made the wrong decision.
Everytime someone he loved got injured or died.
Everytime he had to kill someone.
Every time he made a mistake.
Every time he almost got caught using magic.
The only thing that could take the pain away was a blade.
He would sit there, not even crying, just taking the blade over the pale skin, over and over. While the injuries scarred and healed, he would do it again in between the cuts desperate for more space. This only led to layers of scar tissue over his stomach, thighs, chest, and parts of his arms."Series
