All the spotlights went out. Hushed whispers fell over the audience.
Darkened by shadows, only the noises of confusion that reverberated through the tent were able to make out clearly.
Until every spotlight awakened and became trained on the slumped over woman on the stage.
This was the last act of the day. Following the acrobatics, trapeze routine, and theatrical dramatics of the brief plays, this seemed more tame in comparison. But this was the most horrifying thing to see to the marionette’s mother in the audience.

The stranger laughed and held a mic between their faces. Aha! Probably for a video? Tsukasa spotted the additional person pointing a camera at them. This would be a step to stardom as the internet witnessed his radiant personality.
The stranger smiled, “Well then Tenma-san, you seem charming and full of charisma. Would you be willing to call your girlfriend to see this show with her? If she says I love you by any means you get the tickets for free!”

In an accidental twist of fate, Rui finds out anyway. Tsukasa never intended to confess to Rui at all—after discovering an eight year long bet at his expense, he wishes he never had.
