Hold On Lemme Copy My Tumblr Postim gonna be honest, i had no idea what i was getting into reading this fic. the summary was short but intruiging, and i wanted crossovers with both mm and rise because thats not as common as i hoped.
but this? this fanfic is a fucking masterpiece. i'm not usually the type for apocalypse, and yet it hooked me and kept me intrigued for so many chapters and i was consistently astounded by just how LONG the chapters were. simultaneously, they felt like they were super long, and also went by in a blur- i CONSISTENTLY went "wait im only on chapter [blank]???" the whole time, and that's a good thing!
seriously, i lost sleep reading in a frenzy because i couldnt look away!! i kept getting startled by the sound of someone rolling over all the way upstairs while i was reading in the dark on the couch, the atmosphere was incredible. it evoked it the same way The Room series (of games) did for me. that's a high compliment. i love those games.
above all, the worldbuilding, the character interactions, the solid humor amongst the dark and stormy moments, it kept me on the edge of my seat. i think, this is a fic i'll never forget. it feels almost straight out of the minds of kevin eastman and peter laird themselves- i kid you not, this shit is on the same level as The Last Ronin to me. i'm never going to be the same.
