Summary

Two broken stars in a decaying orbit, passing closer and closer together until the inevitable, devastating collision.
Or, Tav is fucked up and down bad for Astarion, who doesn't quite see the appeal (but he's getting there). Sexual frustration, sloppy handjobs, a heavy dose of masochism, and way too many failed Insight checks ahead. Tav falls first, Astarion falls harder (eventually).
Or, a tragic-but-hopeful romance told through a series of incredibly ill-advised sexual encounters.
If you want to read a story where Astarion is sweet from the start and Tav is here to fix him, this isn't the one. If you want to read about two terribly broken men spending a good long while making each other worse before they make each other better, this might be for you. If you thought the in-game romance was a little too easy and it should have been ten times more painful and difficult to convince Astarion he's worthy of love, this is definitely for you.
Set during the canonical events of Baldur's Gate 3.

Summary
The door opened, letting in the early April chill, and along with it, Sonny Carisi. He spotted Rafael at the bar and made his way toward him, just like he’d done a thousand times before. Rafael supposed it would be the last time for that too.
“What’s going on? What’s the big emergency?”
Admittedly Rafael texted Sonny rarely these days, so it made sense that he would think something was wrong. Even when they were opposing each other in court, their communication was via email and often through their paralegals, but he’d been the first person Rafael thought of when he’d gotten the news.
“They’re closing.”
“What? Who’s closing?” Sonny was still trying to catch up.
“Forlini’s.” Rafael gestured to the bar around them with his glass. It was only afternoon, but if he was saying goodbye, he was doing it with a glass (or two) of his favorite scotch.
