Kara musters a smile at Mxy’s antics and nods, “ok well I’ll see you tomorrow then,” she turns away from Mxy, thanking Rao she can finally go home. Picturing her comfy bed, she grabs the door handle all too ready to depart.
“So… things never worked out with Lena?”
Kara stops.
She hasn’t allowed her mind to settle on Lena since returning. Kara knows if she were to grant herself that luxury she wouldn’t be able to stop.
