The one day Shindou was hired to play at the royal castle, just had to be the day someone would attempt to murder King Kidou.
Shindou thinks he needs to save the king. The random guy who saved his life earlier, Ibuki, thinks it's bullshit, that the king does not deserve it, that he is just a pianist, that he should go home safely instead.
Both are stubborn.
