Summary
“Sign right here.” Yosano demanded. “Please.”
Fukuzawa picked up the papers, flipping them to the front.
“Wait! What are you doing?!” Yosano quickly snatched the papers away from.
He raised an eyebrow at her. “I’m reading them over?”
“Oh, you don’t have to do that,” she rushed, absolutely not suspiciously at all. “You can just sign them without reading them.”
‘I’m pretty sure I should read documents before I sign them,” Fukuzawa said, sounding somewhat amused.
“Uhhh…” Time seemed to freeze as Yosano saw Fukuzawa begin to look back at the documents. And then she panicked. “I’m going to go now!”
Before Fukuzawa could read what the documents were about, she clutched them close to her chest and quickly hurried out of the room before things could get too awkward.
Or: Ranpo and Yosano try to trick Fukuzawa to sign adoption papers without him finding out until they’re already in effect. This goes as well as it could be expected.
Or or: the author decided there was A) a lack of fics where Fukuzawa adopts his kids, B) a lack of fics where Ranpo and Yosano are chaotic teen sibling, and C) a lack of fics where Fukuzawa has a heart-to-heart with BOTH Yosano and Ranpo

Summary
Brushing his bangs out of his face, Poe opened both of his eyes and peered over Ranpo’s shoulder. Ranpo was holding the handheld electric mixer above the bowl still, not mixing any of the ingredients around.
“Ranpo?”
Poe waved his hand in front of Ranpo’s eyes.
Finally, Ranpo responded. “Mixing the perfect substance known to sugar as the absolutely disgustingly tasting butter feels like a sin.”
“Mixing two ingredients together is generally how—”
“How baking works!” Ranpo interrupted. “Yes, yes, I know. You keep on talking to me about this stuff like I don’t understand when I obviously am a MASTER of baking.”
“Says the person who was going to dump the whole sugar bag in the bowl,” Poe muttered under his breath.
“EXCUSE ME!!! WHAT WAS THAT?!”
“Nothing,” Poe said hurriedly.
“I’ll have you know I metaphorically graduated top of my class in cake tasting and eating! And cakes are made through baking! Ergo, that indirectly makes me a master at baking.”
Or: Ranpo and Poe (attempt to) bake a cake! Hijinks and shenanigans ensue.

Summary
A new group entered the warehouse. They streamed through the doors and jumped through the windows. They greatly outnumbered the gang already here by around three to one.
“Give us the target and there doesn’t need to be any fight,” the person who seemed to be the leader of the new group shouted.
“Oh, you can take him!” Someone from the first group shouted. “He works for the Armed Detective Agency!”
“He does?” The leader stared at Ranpo. “Nope. We’re out of here. We’re not getting involved with the agency.”
The leader turned to leave and the rest of the members followed their lead. Or at least, they attempted to.
The door was slammed open into the leader’s face, knocking them to the ground.
“We are here to kidnap our target and only our target! Give no resistance and no one else shall be hurt!”
The leader groaned on the ground. “Well, did you know that your target works for—”
“You are trying to convince me not to kidnap him! That is resistance! You shall be hurt!”
And that’s when all hell broke loose.
Or: in which Ranpo is tossed between different kidnapping groups like a hot potato while Fukuzawa and others race to get him back.

Summary
After the cat ate all of the treats, they hopped up onto Ranpo’s legs and started loafing, tucking their paws underneath their body. They meowed again while they looked up between Fukuzawa and Ranpo.
“Fukuzawa?” Ranpo asked, voice quiet so as to not startle the cat. “Can we keep them? Please?”
Ranpo was staring up at him with wide, pleading eyes.
Oh no.
“Please?” Ranpo said again.
Oh no no no.
Fukuzawa swore he saw Ranpo’s eyes shine. His face turned even more pleading. The cat started looking up with wide eyes as well.
It took everything in Fukuzawa to keep his straight face.
This wasn’t fair. He was being emotionally manipulated by both Ranpo and the cat. They both clearly knew what they were doing
Or: Fukuzawa and Ranpo adopt a cat!

Summary
He then took a deep breath. None of this would be able to stand with him any longer.
“WHOEVER CAUSED THIS MESS IS GOING TO—!”
Ranpo interrupted him from his spot on the desk quietly. “It was me…”
Ranpo's shoulders were hunched and he was staring at his hands in his lap. He wasn’t meeting Fukuzawa’s, or anyone else’s, gaze.
“Is going to be forgiven because everyone deserves a second chance,” Fukuzawa quickly corrected. He had clearly been hasty before.
Or: Ranpo is Fukuzawa’s favorite. And everyone knows it. So they take advantage of that fact by bribing Ranpo (with food) to take the blame for things so Fukuzawa will forgive everyone
Or or: 3 times an ADA member passed the blame onto Ranpo and 1 time Fukuzawa found out.
