There was one irrefutable truth: Slingshot was supposed to hate Coil with all of his being. The way he would constantly ragebait him and drive him up the wall at work spoke for itself, and there should have been no room for any sort of soft feelings. So how was he to explain the way he breaks down entirely when Coil goes missing all of a sudden? The one inphernal he should have despised, he found himself missing desperately.
