The beginning is an instant throw of angst, highly not expected for me as I thought it will start as an introduction of Techno & Dream's friendship before moving on the accident. I felt bad for Techno, he really did not mean for that to happen but it did and the guilt eat him up, a lot. Also for Dream- Maybe he is expecting Techno to visit at least during his stay at the hospital, maybe not since he understand that his friend felt guilty. Besides the hospital visit, it must've hurt to know that his friend left without saying a goodbye.
"Because Dream might’ve forgiven him, but Techno never would." Ouch-
But honestly though, I'm glad the Author did that. The way they wrote the story is just satisfying, they pace it so well, especially on starting it up with a brick and slowly turning into a fine rubble. This basically shows how Techno slowly forgives himself from what he did and also have a second chance in being back into Dream's orbit. The fact that Dream instantly accepts him here and doesn't want him to be gone is just killing my heart.
Also- I find it funny how Techno thought Dream will recognize him when his hair is literally pink and looks older than the last time they saw each other. Either way, Dream keep appearing in his side a lot after the canteen scene. When Dream accepted the offer for help on his studies by a guy(Techno) he didn't even know the name of and will also do that at their dorm; That is concerning Dream, stranger danger dude- Good thing it's Techno bro. I drank vigorously on my Yakult when the reveal happened, gosh that felt so satisfying.
To sum up- The story only focus on the two characters, one finally forgiving themselves while the other gets back the person they always been missing; Just them, no side characters to be distracted with, just their happy ending. Love thissssssss
Fudge- I'm biting my empty yakult bottle with how ecstatic I am, instant 10/10 in my standards. Definitely going to be in my top 10 favourite dnb fanfictions, I love this author so much, their writing is great and the fact that they wrote one of my other favourite dnb story. Poggg.

Holy guacamole- The song from the Anastasia movie?!?! I haven't watched it but I do know some scenes. Besides that, I really love this song because it feels so magical and nostalgic so finding this story just made my morning better despite the bittersweet ending.
The specific lyrics given to the 3 characters here are damn well placed and so insightful. For Sapnap, I'm not particularly sure about it but it feels like that lyrics capture the emotional weight of his character in the canon such as the longing, the love and the loss of someone he seen as a brother before. For Technoblade, completely easy to interpret, just from the lyric "Someone holds me safe and warm" and him being the one that offered him help and support is fitting. Lastly, for George. "Glowing dim as an ember" as he is usually portrayed as someone passive and avoiding of conflicts which may hint as his quiet sorrow. Oop- This is just pure hypothesis and assumptions so mb if it is wrong. (Also"! I love how the lyrics are given in the right order of song, such a nice detail)
At the start, it sounds like Dream is singing a song for both of his friends which makes sense for me considering they are close to one another before their friendship became in shambles but the scenes from his memory singing it to them is just painful in the heart to read.
Other than that, I also felt bad for the Syndicate. Their feelings and opinions are valid over there, especially Ranboo and Niki considering their stance in Dream. Can't blame them for that tbh. ("He probably died with no weapons or armor.”Ranboo foreshadowing his death, nc detail) Plus- Technoblade seems to be not sure about his decision to agree there. He cares for the Syndicate and he also cares for Dream so it is a hard choice there since each option will cause a strain in their relationship and an uncomfortable feeling, unfortunately, that decision he made unexpectedly ended up causing a permanent loss.
Ouch- The ending really is bittersweet. Dream finally getting to be with the people he truly love; Meanwhile in reality, his frozen body is being held by his ally as he sob and feel guilty.
Overall, great and a solid 8/10 for me. There are some parts that I am not satisfied as it does nothing but filled my brain with questions. Is Dream an immortal? How did he met Cat? Does the Anastasia movie plot a reference to Dream's backstory here? Did Dream made that song in this story? Why did Techno decided to help and let Dream stay in the Syndicate meeting room as he recover? Is it out of pity or something genuine? And so on, maybe some answers are hinted in the story but I fr don't know, I'm literally typing this around 5am and my mind function well better later.
