Summary
"It was an honor to be here. That’s what you told yourself. And yet, as you walked deeper into the shadowed corridors, your footsteps echoing through the silence, that small spark of doubt twisted in your stomach. You’d been summoned, chosen for your reputation as a healer, but you knew all too well that your presence here wasn’t welcome by everyone.
The guards escorted you through stone corridors, the air thick with the scent of burning wood and something sharper — like scorched metal. You tightened your grip on the leather satchel slung across your shoulder, trying to ignore the way your heartbeat quickened as you thought about the dragon you’d come to help. Kirishima Eijiro. He was known across the kingdom as one of the strongest protectors of Pyroclast, fierce and unbreakable.
And now he was wounded."
The name of the city is pyroclast bc I'm a rock nerd ^^
pyroclastic rocks are rocks formed from fragments and grains of volcanic material ejected during explosive volcanic eruptions
Comments are a safe space! give me your takes on the story!!! It really helps me steer the story on the way y'all want it -

When they sat me up on the couch my ears were muffled as if I had cotton balls in my ears. I tried saying something, but no words came out. No breath came from my mouth, except for some drool. They laid me down and put a nice soft blanket on me. They walked away for a second before coming back with a glass of water. They tried helping me drink from the glass, but I just laid there. I could hear my breathing so clearly, it blocked everything else out. I could also hear my heart beating, and every time it felt like thumping in my ear.
