fWhip sits perched in the window of a sandstone building, specifically the one that usually allows moonlight to light the papers scattered across the floor desk in the Copper King’s bedroom. Right now the moonlight is dyed red, the papers nearly unreadable. Pix makes no effort to unfold himself from the floor despite this.
“I still don’t understand why you choose to work on the floor instead of a nice chair.” fWhip quips, leaning further into the room to take a peak at the pages. Some legal looking stuff in Pixandrian, nothing fun. “I could make you a sturdy one, ya’know. Your knees are killing me.”
“Says the man with chronic back pain?” Pix doesn’t so much as glance up from his work, grinning.
“Hey! That’s not just from bad posture! I got wings! Ones actually attached to my body and all!”

Things… change.
Ghost supposes that many would probably say that they get better. They do get better, don’t they? Yes, they do. Things change, and they are better. The Infection is gone, and Hollow is safe, and Hornet is happy, and so Ghost is fine. Perhaps they are selfish, and they mourn a dying world that they can never return to, and they are more alone than ever before, but they’ll get over it.
…And it’s not as if anyone will notice if they don’t.
