Summary
A fancy letter from the other island should have been the least of Schpood’s concerns. He had a nation to build, people to feed, a world to rule. Still, he is finding himself more and more transfixed on this queen of color writing to him. She tells stories of a land of abundant beauty and prosperity. It was all supposed to be a political affair, but love is tricky in that way. Who knew you could fall for some words on a page?
