Childe’s exit from the Primordial Sea after being hurled through the dimensional rift brings him on a small detour, and he comes face to face with someone who looks…a lot like Master Skirk.
(In which Jingliu and Skirk look SO ALIKE that I impulsively wrote a fic on that single premise.)Aka Childe interacts with the Astral Express, the Xianzhou Luofu cast, and check-ins on Teyvat. He participates in a few companion quests ranging from Kafka’s to Jingliu’s. Watch him comprehend the power scaling in the Star Rail verse, getting himself into trouble, figure out how to return to Teyvat, and other shenanigans (if you ever wondered what would happen if Blade met Childe, this is the fic for you). Oh and he impulsively ate the Lightless eye of the Maelstrom? (Wait- Didn't that mean he just ate the Narwhal?)

Well, that’s until he gets kidnapped by the Tenryou Commission alongside Yoimiya and tied up in front of the Raiden Shogun.

Summary
The man’s eyes are wide when Childe slams his head into the floor. Childe stands up over him, eyes raking over his body. He supposes the watch on his wrist is to Zhongli’s taste. Off it comes, along with his earrings, a bracelet, and a ring Childe finds when he takes off his gloves.
“Take care of him,” he calls out over his shoulder to the men he knows are stationed nearby as he walks away from the mole and towards where he knows Zhongli is waiting for him. “I have places to be.”
Childe finds a mole snooping around and disposes of him. He drops the trophies of the encounter at Zhongli's feet.
