He traces the spots where, just yesterday, there were torn, jagged scars, bullet holes, blood, and bruises, but now there’s just Beth’s pale, porcelain skin, untouched and unharmed.
Daryl watches Beth die. Then, he wakes up in the funeral home on the morning of her kidnapping. He's destined to live this day over and over again until he can finally get it right.
