That didn’t make it easier.
Shadow didn’t like people. They were loud, rude, invaded his space or feared him, treated him like either a monstrous weapon or a god.
This family would not be different.

Today was a special day. Jotaro didn’t really think so, but his mother had insisted on the phone that it was, thank you very much, and he wasn’t about to argue with her over something so trivial.
His birthday really wasn’t anything special, in his opinion, though. It was just a normal day, except he got called more than usual by the few people he had managed to keep close to him through the years. Polnareff, Holly, the old man, Suzi... Jolyne, sometimes.
On his 30th birthday, he added someone to the list.
