TagsSummary“Look, we don't have to if you don't want to. I remember what you said the last time we saw each other. I can walk myself back home right now, just say the word,” Jisung says, worrying his lower lip between his teeth. A nervous tick, Minho notes. He considers it for a moment – sending Jisung home – but then he would have gained nothing from all of this. But he also doesn't want to lead the guy on. “You should know I wear hearing aids,” Minho blurts, an attempt to sabotage. This is the part where Jisung will realize Minho isn't worth it. He’ll walk away, Minho is sure of it. "I know. Chan-hyung told me,” Jisung says, “I don't care about that– or well, I do, but– you make it sound like it’s a dealbreaker–” “Because it is.” “It's not.” Jisung's words kill Minho’s argument, leaving Minho staring at him in shock, his mouth hanging open. or: After years of accepting that he’ll never be enough for a relationship, Minho feels relieved when he doesn't receive a soulmate mark. That is, until he meets Jisung — another person without a mark, who makes him question everything he thought he wanted.

TagsSummaryThe ballet dancer’s soft voice breaks through the buzzing black and white static that fills Jisung’s mind. “Hello.” “Ahh–” Jisung stumbles over himself for a moment, chewing his lip to get himself in order. “I’m Han Jisung, born in 2000. It's nice to meet you.” Well. Shit. As if he needed anymore proof of how limited his ‘gift with words’ truly was. He shouldn’t have left the house, he clearly can’t be in society. The dancer’s face lights up in amusement. “Wow, so formal and polite. I’m Minho.” Minho’s smirk shifts again like mercury. No, Jisung corrects himself, Minho feels too assured to be quicksilver. It’s like the seasons. Like the spring melt. A change that brings relief. A shift so steady it feels stablising Or: Jisung is a poet experiencing major writer's block. He goes out to find inspiration when he finds the ballet dancer Minho.

Teach Me How To Love Again by vera_ba for shortcomingsFandoms: 방탄소년단 | Bangtan Boys | BTS26 Feb 2023 TagsSummary“Jungkook? He’s fine,” Yoongi mumbles under his nose, “young and dedicated, the kids adore him, and half of the moms are in love with him,” he says, “why do you ask?” Jimin blinks, “uhm ––– nothing,” he stammers, “just curious,” the blond says quietly, mostly to himself, lost in his thoughts for a moment. “Alright, bye, hyung,” he snaps out of it, hurried and slightly flustered as he leaves the room, feeling his friend's curious eyes on himself. Why the hell is he flustered? He really is just curious ––– for the sake of his children. That’s all. The fact that said young and dedicated teacher has the prettiest eyes he's ever seen does not faze him at all. or: Jimin wasn't looking for love when he moved to Seoul. He simply wanted a fresh start for both himself and his children. Destiny, however, seems to have other plans.

TagsSummary“What are you?” Jeongguk asks after his initial shock has eased a bit. He wasn’t yet relaxed, how could he when eyes are starring at him through his mirror that aren’t his own. All the time, since he bought the mirror at the local flea market, he had the feeling of eyes following him, but he never thought that he was right with this, that it wasn’t just a symptom of his often over alert instincts and the stress he had have before he bought the antique-looking mirror. He isn’t even sure in this moment that he isn’t just hallucinating, the past weeks must catch up to him, this is the only explanation that wouldn’t have him freak out, but with his rate of luck these days he was pushing the thought right into the bin. OR Finding a man in the mirror, bunny hybrid Jeongguk has bought during his last visit at the local flea market, hasn't been something he expected he would do. But neither did he expect to find love during possibly the darkest time of his life.

TagsSummaryJisung hardly thinks so. He thinks that Minho’s kitchen is homey and simple and it’s clear that he’s comfortable in it. He fears that Minho won’t feel the same comfortability and familiarity in his own kitchen. He barely uses it as is, so the space isn’t accustomed to someone feeling in their element in it, so he worries that it will translate to Minho as well, and affect his motivation and attitude with his videos. Minho’s smile shifts, like it’s his turn to be shy, then scratches the back of his neck in what looks to be subtle embarrassment. “I have a YouTube channel, actually." I know, and I love your channel. Maybe a little too much. Jisung bites his tongue from saying that out loud. They’ve barely known each other for an hour and he doesn’t want to freak Minho out by saying that he’s a (very dedicated) fan. ♡ If it wasn’t ironic enough, picky eater Han Jisung finds himself borderline obsessed with popular food content creator Chef Linoring. When his manager finds it as a way to coax him into willingly eating something other than ramen and fast food, Lee Minho quickly and steadily becomes a prominent figure in his life.
