Summary
After they are driven out of their home, Fíli, his brother, and their uncle find refuge in the unlikely home of two hobbits. Gandalf said they’d be safe there, but only Thorin can keep them safe.
Thorin has already lost everything. All he has left are his nephews and even now he worries that they will be lost to him as well. He doesn’t trust the hobbits, especially the female one. She seems far too interested in his nephews for his liking.
Kíli misses his amad. He knows he should be more cautious, but he likes the hobbits. He especially likes the lady one. She reminds him of his amad.
Briar never fit in the Shire. She was always too different. But maybe, her place was always meant to be in the mountains instead of hills.
Bilbo always knew his job was to protect his little sister. She was the only family he had left, after all. But family isn’t always defined by blood. Sometimes family is by choice.

Summary
Bilbo returned to the Shire broken-hearted, though not quite alone, knowing only that Fili and Kili lived and the line of Durin was secure, so long as no one ever learned of the late King Under the Mountain's dirty little secret.
Only, as it turns out, "late" wasn't a very accurate descriptor of one Thorin Oakenshield at all.
Or, the one where Bilbo hears about ten thousand embarrassing stories from Thorin's childhood courtesy of Dis, Thorin is more guilt than Dwarf, and Frodo charms half of Middle Earth before his first birthday.

Summary
Bilbo Baggins is a slave. He's been a slave all his life in this land made of sand and stone. One day, while he's waiting to be sold in his slave quarters, a man comes to him and examines him, saying nothing. A handsome man. When Bilbo is bought by him, he finds his new life luxurious - Freedom to go wherever he chooses, no chains and wonderful clothes made of cotton and silk - The only rule being he must obey his new master, Thorin.

Summary
In hindsight, Bilbo has no earthly idea what he's doing here.
He's of no use in a proper fight and quick wit and unnatural plant life will change very little about that.
Bilbo has no idea what he's doing here and he dearly hopes that the Shire doesn't either.
Some laws are very old and are not wisely broken - a shame, considering he's broken damn near every one of them.
And if Thorin keeps up his terrible attitude he might just break another.

Summary
All his life, Bilbo had to keep secrets from the rest of the Shire, feeling isolated and hopeless. Things change when Thorin accidentality does not only create a soulbond between the two, but also drags three more members of his company into the mess. While an escape from the Shire sounds good… How is Bilbo supposed to protect his secrets when in a relationship? Also, considering how rare children are for dwarfs, how will Bilbo’s FOUR partners react should they find out he is physically able of giving them as many as they require? Dwarfs appear to be so rough and determined… What may they be capable of doing to the hobbit?
Or: While hobbit society seems rather serene at first, their harsh rules dedicate a certain lifestyle. Meanwhile, dwarfs are a bunch of genderless feminists and the unchallenged kings of consent and respect. Unfortunately, no one has told Bilbo this.
