“You want to do what?”, Hathor asked him for the third time.
The Doctor rolled his eyes.
“Really, Hathor, it’s not that complicated”, he complained, holding up a small metal object. “I want to sneak this into the tomb before you close it so my wife can find it in a few millennia when she goes to excavate it.”The master of burials gave him a strange look. “Your wife is planing on desecrating our queen’s final resting place?”
The Doctor grimaced. “I promise she doesn’t mean it like that”
Hathor still wasn’t convinced. “But you’re saying your wife is a grave robber”
The Doctor rubbed his neck sheepishly. “Well Hathor, I can’t stand archeologists either, but it makes her happy and I don’t think it’s my place to tell her what to do with her life.”
Hathor just stared at him with a blank expression.

“It’s over” Her voice fleets trough the room like it is scared to wake her up from a dream of swirling skies and eternities.
“What did you say?”
She tilts the paper so he can read the headline.

Her eyes meet his, she seems to look right trough him, into his soul.“It’s over”, she repeats. Her hands shake as she lifts them up to her mouth.
Lucius’s head is whirling, a million thoughts crashing through him at once.
`Draco can grow up safe now’, is his first thought.
It feels like the weight of the world is lifted off of him.
Only to come punching into him again.
`Who are we without the war?’, he thinks, and he hates himself for the question but he knows it’s a valid thought.

Summary
“My mother used to brush my hair”, she hears herself say, immediately cursing her mouth for speaking without her brain controlling it.
Lesso halts for a brief moment, if Sophie hadn’t been nervously looking for a reaction, she would have missed it entirely. “Oh?”, her dean asks, brushing slightly slower than before.
Sophie nods, her hair moving with her head.
“She used to braid it too, every morning before school.” She doesn’t know why she is telling all this to the woman, but it feels right.
Lesso hums . “My mother never braided my hair”, the Dean of Evil tells her, “she said it was too wild.” She looks as surprised as Sophie to have told her all that. “She used to on special occasions though”, she continues. “Like birthdays or holidays.”
Sophie smiles “There was this special braid my mom did then. A crown braid.”
Lesso snorts, brushing at a normal pace again. “That checks out.”

Summary
Drinking with someone who could turn water into wine, as it turns out, is just like drinking normally because Joshua absolutely refuses to perform frivolous miracles.
“It doesn’t do”, he drunkenly proclaims one night, one arm around Judas, “to preach selflessness and then turn around and use power that could heal the wounded to conjure wine for oneself”.
Crawley hums and conjures another bottle. “So why did you do it at the wedding?”
Joshua’s cheeks turn redder than the alcohol had already turned them. “That doesn’t count”, he says, looking into the fire in front of them, “that was for my mother.”
Crawley laughs and asks which one he means and the Son of God throws a piece of bread in his general direction.

Downing the red wine in one go he holds the glass out for Crawley to fill again.
Once the water pitcher is empty, Joshua talks.“They’re changing my name”
“To?”
“Jesus Christ of Nazareth”
Crawley hums. “Not too big of a change. Better than Crawley, anyways”

Summary
Leonora, a pirate by trade, lives for the dangers of the open ocean. During a routine raid with her crew, she discovers someone fascinating in the bowels of the ship. It’s a split-second decision that she doesn’t come to regret, but she rescues the clearly distressed maiden and introduces her to the luxurious lifestyle of piracy. She didn’t expect to fall under the woman’s enchantments.
Clarissa, a siren by birth, is a clear example of how dangerous the open ocean is. Unfortunately, some people - mainly Leonora and her crew - have a hard time understanding this concept. Being kidnapped by The Red Death was almost as inconvenient as being arrested for murder (don’t look at her like that, it was an accident.) Despite her original misgivings, being a probationary member of the pirate’s crew was fun. And Clarissa particularly enjoyed capturing the attention of the captain.
