Seiji sabia que ao sair de sua casa e ir àquele colégio conseguiria suprir seu desejo pelas estranhezas de Bukimina. Sabia que descobriria mais sobre si mesmo, sobre suas ambições e sobre todo o mistério que cobria aquela cidade.
Só nunca passou pela sua cabeça que nada seria tão simples. Aquele lugar, aquela casa, aqueles estudantes. Takeda não se encaixava completamente. Havia alguma coisa maior que comandava tudo, havia alguma coisa maior nele.
Ainda por cima, havia uma escuridão tremenda cobrindo os cantos mais tenebrosos daquela escola. Por isso, em um simples erro, Seiji conhece pessoas que o iriam afundá-lo ainda mais no inferno que é Bukimina e ele nunca mais conseguiria se livrar dessa maldição.

Everyone is born with a mark- unless their soulmate is already dead. What’s unusual is how sometimes Tony has a mark and sometimes he doesn’t.
No one knows what to do with that. Marks only disappear when a person’s soulmate is dead. But one day, Tony had a mark and then the next he didn’t. Tony had barely had enough time to realize that something was wrong before it was back.

Steve is also born with a mark.
But when Steve is injected with the serum, his mark changes. Marks aren’t supposed to change. They’re supposed to remain static, as static as the fact that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west.

The Asset doesn't know if he was born with a mark or not.
He would probably say that he was born with one because everyone seems to have one but, if it's not important to his mission, then he doesn't know.
He does have one though. It appears immediately on his metal arm the first time they attach it to his shoulder.

Wado is different. Not only is the white sword clearly special to Zoro, but her haki signature is also the least threatening of the three. She still feels dangerous, like any powerful weapon should, but it’s a serene sort of strength—something like a still, deep body of water or Zoro’s powerful body held still in meditation.
Sanji chases that familiar sensation deep into the ocean, even as his lungs start to burn and the pressure of the water threatens to crush him from above. Wado has been with the Straw Hats even longer than Sanji has, and he refuses to let the ocean have her.
Or; Sanji dives into the water after Wado, Zoro shares a secret in the middle of the night, and something shifts irrevocably between them.
