“What if I told you I might have the perfect idea for you?”
“I’m not coming home with you, Garreth. You know I hate to impose,” Ominis says, rolling his eyes. “And your sisters are too intense for me. Haven’t you told them I’m not interested?”
“I’m not asking you to come with me,” Garreth says, and the infliction of his voice changes, the tone becoming playful. “What if I told you that Sebastian Sallow is looking for a Christmas companion?”
In an impulse decision that is so unlike him he can barely recognize himself, Ominis tags along with Sebastian on an impromptu road trip to London.
