    Three facts, not written on the brochures he'd picked up from the stand outside:

    1. Unlike most other shark species, blacktip reef sharks are known to cooperate in a hunt, relying on one another to catch their prey. It is the only shark species in which altruistic behaviour has been recorded.
    2. It’s fifteen minutes to closing time and so it’s highly likely that no, Jinu would not be able to buy the whale shark plush toy that he so wanted from the gift shop after all.
    3. Under the fluorescent lights of the aquarium tunnels, Rumi’s hair looks iridescent — shimmers like the glittering schools of fish flitting around overhead, wayward strands speckled silver under the soft glow, and Jinu has never wanted to kiss her more.
