Art finally meets his gaze. Clenches his teeth with resolve. His eyes rake over Patrick’s face and he stays quiet for a moment before he speaks.
“To take back what’s mine.”After Art wins the Challenger Patrick sulks back to his shitty motel room. Alone, miserable, lying in bed in his sweaty tennis gear, he thinks of all of his failures, everything he's lost. And then there's a knock on the door.
