There is something about Bakugou that suggests that telling him would make everything okay. Because telling Bakugou the problem would make it their problem, and problems aren’t as difficult when they’re shared.
or: Shouto doesn’t realize the notecard he’s signing and writing down his wants on is for a class gift exchange, so he writes down ‘a kiss from Bakugou’ as his number one thing.

Several things happen all at the same time in Shouto Todoroki's life: He hits the rankings as a top ten pro hero, the anniversary of his brother's death comes to pass again, and Sero Hanta moves back to Japan.
Unfortunately, his family didn't exactly give him the tools to cope with change, so he guesses he has to figure this one out on his own.

“A-are you the kid who slapped that goose a couple days ago?”
Sokka froze. That voice… he recognized that voice.
Ever so slowly, Sokka turned around, carefully setting his laptop on his desk and meeting the gaze of hoodie kid. Near golden eyes, black hair in a wolf cut… Spirits, it was the gorgeous kid he ran into two days prior. His throat felt parched and dry because he was just as pretty now as he was then, except this time, Sokka was sitting right next to him.
The kid was staring at him, his eyebrows scrunched and making a face that kind of resembled sucking on a lemon that wasn’t terribly sour, just weird-tasting.
“Heh heh,” Sokka chuckled, gulping nervously, his hands twisting in his lap. “I-um, yes. Y-you, uhm you remember that?”

Katara is halfway through parting out bits of hair for her hair-loopies when she hears voices coming from the other side of the (unfortunately thin) wall.
“Sleep well?” Zuko’s voice murmurs, rough with sleep.
Someone hums in response, and Katara’s about to pound on the wall and make fun of Zuko for having someone in bed with him, when the person speaks up.
“Pretty good, yeah,” Sokka says. Katara’s fist pauses halfway through it’s trek to the wall, held up in mid air.

Or, five times that Katara notices how close Sokka and Zuko are, and the one time she realises just how Close they really are.

A way of saying he’d been raised to be nothing more than an expensive snow globe – decorative and fragile. Maybe he had been, but he’d never thought of himself as anything worth displaying. His father made sure of that. But now, he felt like he’d been picked up and shaken around. As the flecks of glittering snow inside him swirled and fell, they echoed the words pretty boy, pretty boy, pretty boy.
