"Love, you forgot your lunch." Phainon said with a stunning smile, handing out a dromas shaped lunch bag.
"Thank you," Anaxa said putting a strand of hair behind his ear. Hyacine let out another cute little squeak that had Anaxa smiling softly. He kissed her forehead tenderly earning another joyful mumble from her.
"Anything for you." Phainon caressed Anaxa's cheek lovingly before kissing him soft and sweet. "See you at home, beautiful," he said with a big ass smile before going out of the classroom.
Students couldn't believe their eyes. How? When? Where?
How?!
"Any questions?" he asked once the class was almost over.
Everyone raised their hands.
Anaxa sighed. "About quantum information as the scientific basis for the explanation of human consciousness and its evolution, not about my husband."
All hands went down.
Or, the many times Phainon embarrassed the hell out of his husband, and the one time Anaxa struck back.

Then, he heard the sound of Anaxa’s chuckle.

…
?!?
WHAAAAT?????
Or: Phainon, a newly-appointed intern, accidentally emails the head of the neighboring department a document in which he confesses his feelings, and the rest is history (he embarrasses himself more than once).

Anaxa clears his throat. His voice comes out lower, steadier. “We’re not here to talk about that.”
“No,” Phainon says, eyes flicking up to meet his. “But it’s hard not to, when everything here feels like you.”
Anaxa’s heart skips, stutters.
“You don’t mean that.”
“I do.” Phainon leans forward slightly, resting his chin on an elbow propped on his thigh, gaze intent. “The lighting. The mood. The silence. All of this… you create spaces that hurt a little, and I step inside them willingly.”
OR: Six years of silence can hold a lot of hurt, and just as much longing. Anaxa never thought he’d come back. Phainon never thought he’d get the chance to forgive him. But sometimes, a single morning is enough to rewrite everything.

Not literally, maybe. Probably. Hopefully. Because the headlines of the morning newspaper about his death would be so fucking embarrassing. Death by blue balling: The story of a horny Chrysos Heir tormented by his lover until he exploded. Ah yes, that’s for the history books for sure, Phainon could already see it.
“Are you going to be good for me, baby?”
Baby . So Anaxa could be like this in bed. And Phainon was way too into it, way more than he thought he’d ever be. Everything Anaxa seemed to do just seemed to be the exactly right thing to get him all riled up, so before anything passed over to his brain, he found himself nodding.
In which Phainon learns a little something new about himself and Anaxa ruins Phainon's chance of ever getting praise ever again
