Summary
For the thirtieth time in half-as-many minutes, Geralt's eyes darted back to his quiet travel-companion, and apparently this was just one glance too many.
Jaskier heaved a dramatic sigh and stopped in his tracks. He didn't say anything, but there was a clear and demanding What? in the hands-on-hips posture and dead-eyed annoyance he aimed at Geralt.
Geralt stopped, too. He frowned at Jaskier critically – appraisingly – and watched as Jaskier's attitude from moments before shrunk back within him, the bard’s arms folding over his chest in an attempt to maintain his image of stubborn petulance while also making himself a lesser target. It wasn't working.
"Are you ill?"
aka. Jaskier gets sick on the road, and Geralt takes a while to figure it out.

"You... Jaskier, you don't deserve my forgiveness."
Jaskier winced and turned his attention purposefully to the floorboards.
"I know-"
"No, I don't think you do know." Geralt grabbed Jaskier by the shoulders and ducked his head to intercept the man's averted gaze. "You've done nothing that warrants apology."
Jaskier gave an uncomfortable laugh and fidgeted under the attention. "...Okay, I think we both know that's not true – There are reasons- and some admittedly valid ones -that I'm banned from certain taverns, villages, kingdoms- I mean, no amount of lute-playing-"
aka. post-episode 6 semi-fix-it, wherein Geralt and Jaskier try to apologize to each other after the whole mountain incident, but they're both dumbasses (perhaps the only in-character detail of this whole fic)

Summary
David has a bad sick day that he doesn't let the kids know about. On the same day, Mr. Honeynuts rips. When Max comes to his cabin and demands that David fix him, he finds that he's not only not feeling well, but consistently has episodes of not feeling well. Just a little bit of fluff.
