Summary
In the aftermath of the battle of Hogwarts, Voldemort survived the final attack and the school is given an ultimatum. Trapped inside the castle, surrounded by Death Eaters and protective wards, Hogwarts has seven months to wipe out its Muggle-borns. If the students are unsuccessful in completing this task, all of Hogwarts will suffer. If the school has been "cleansed of filthy blood” by their own peers, Voldemort will accept them into his army and gift them with the opportunity to survive.
Hermione Granger seems to be the only one who hasn't given up in a time of defeat.
Draco Malfoy hasn't yet found his role in this mess, but with the whole school expecting the worst from him, his choices are very limited.
When unfortunate circumstances force the two to put their minds to a test and ignore their hatred, it truly becomes a test of dare and risk as well as hearts and flames.
