Summary
John, a hockey player with a promising career ahead of him, is partially blinded after an accident during the Olympic gold-medal hockey game. Unable to play professional hockey anymore, he moves back to his hometown and begins to make a life for himself without professional skating. However, he longs for something more than bar hockey leagues can offer him. So when figure skating coach Parker Yang comes to him with an offer—a chance to win an Olympic gold medal as a figure skater, paired with the infamously temperamental but wildly talented Arthur Lester—he accepts. Something is better than nothing, right?
Except that Arthur hates him on sight, and “temperamental” turns out to mean “rude, self-absorbed, and excruciating to work with.”
Neither Arthur nor John is happy with the arrangement, but with no other options and the Olympic season rapidly approaching, they reluctantly begin training. As John gets to know Arthur better—and meets Arthur’s seven-year-old daughter, Faroe—he begins to realize that there’s more to the man than he first thought. But will they be able to take home the Olympic gold medal? And will John be able to skate with a man that he is slowly but surely falling in love with?

Summary
The kinds of people who end up locked in towers are often of the young, whimsical sort. Or at least, that’s the stereotype, and Barnes has never found much evidence to the contrary.
Barnes can’t really put his finger on why Prince Wilde is different. Maybe it’s how godsdamned miserable he looks. Or maybe it’s because Barnes has been reliably informed that the man is cursed, but he really, really doesn’t look it.
Those are usually the worst kind.
Wilde is a prince awaiting true love’s kiss in the highest room of the tallest tower. Zolf just wants to get everybody off his lawn. Or, a RQG Shrek AU.

“So, do you like the lights?”
The first thing Jeremy had done after dropping his bag onto the ground was crouch down and plug in the string of fairy lights he’d put up the previous weekend. Jean doesn’t quite understand; they don’t offer significantly more light than the ones embedded in their ceiling, and the sun outside is still shining. “They seem unnecessary. It is bright enough during the day.”
Jeremy hesitates. It’s only for a moment, but Jean is familiar enough with him now to recognize it. “You can also use them at night,” Jeremy says, turning back to face his bag. “If you’d like.”

Summary
Eating is fine, now that he gets to taste things. There are so many flavors that combine in so many different ways, and John keeps discovering new ones—ones he loves and ones he hates and ones he knows he can make better if given the chance. The problem isn’t the eating; it’s what comes after the eating.
Digestion.
Eugh.
.
Or, John gets his own human body post-canon and experiences the trials and tribulations of having to feed that body.

Summary
It is a wonderful, terrible thing to be young and foolish and in love.
As he works to prepare the Marsyas orphanage for the arrival of its first wards, Arthur Parnassus, perhaps the last living phoenix, must choose carefully with whom he is willing to be vulnerable. Charles Werner is half middle manager and half jailer, while the mysterious island sprite seems to know more about who Arthur is than he is entirely comfortable with. And there are things on the island that Arthur would have just as gladly left in the past ...

Summary
“Unhand me, filth, or I will unleash a plague of locusts on this whole island! The seas will seethe and boil!” cried the Antichrist.
Oh no, Arthur thought. Talia is going to love him.
“Do you like boiled seafood?” he asked. “We can certainly do a crab boil soon, no need to destroy the whole ocean about it.”

Lucy arrives on Marsyas Island. Arthur tries very, very hard to make him feel safe.
